Amber Lyn Launches a New Blog

Welcome to the first official post to the Amber Lyn Chocolate Blog. We hope you’ll find yourself here every once in a while to read about our little corner of the chocolate world.

Among the great things that are happening at our plant in the red rock country of Southern Utah is the acquisition of some new equipment. Last summer we bought a Hilliard Enrober but it’s been sitting around a corner of the factory in pieces. We finally found another chocolatier with tons of experience using Hilliard equipment who will be coming to St George on July 24 to us set up our unit. We’re really excited because we’ll be able to start enrobing pretzels, caramels and all sorts of other good stuff with our sugar free Belgian chocolate. Look for new items on our website, www.AmberLynChocolateStore.com, by September.

In the meantime, we’ve updated our bar packaging and introduced our new Dark and Milk Chocolate Bites. These little bits of chocolate Nirvana are individually wrapped and come in .32 ounce segments. They’re perfect for controlling that urge to eat endless amounts of chocolate.

We’ll post some pictures once we get our new enrober up and running.
